On the first day of the effectivity of the Philippines’ law against cybercrimes, the law firm of Torres Matunog Gevieso Montero & Associates facilitated an ICT industry forum attended by more than 30 industry leaders. Atty. Samuel R. Matunog was the main presentor. Among the resolutions adopted were to form a special committee to draft recommendations on the law’s implementing rules and regulations and to pursue a dialogue with law enforcement agencies and the Judiciary.
